If you are looking for a good laugh I strongly recommend checking out The Lonely Island. I started to watch some of it while in a really quiet place where other people were working and I couldn’t help up burst out laughing. It is soo good.
Event log blog published a great article on how to automate shutting down your workstation to help in the efforts to go green.

Today I ventured out a little bit. I made it as far as Kittery, Maine which is near Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I started out simply enjoying the fall colors and the mountains, which I am not accustom to in flat Illinois. I eventually stopped my drive in Manchester, New Hampshire. I hung out in town for a while and went to a local coffee shop.
After a strong internal pull to see the ocean, I ended up driving all the way to Maine. I was able to get quite a few photos, although not as many as I would have liked. There wasn’t too many good areas to stop. Well, it is probably not a good idea to trespass on peoples property when there are no licensing fees to own a shotgun or rifle and the state motto is “Live free or Die!”
I will be posting photos tomorrow on Daily Blur and on Flickr hopefully tomorrow. It has really been hit or miss with a wifi connection for me.
For the next week or so I will be on vacation. Unlike most bloggers who announce they are taking time off and really do, I am stating this to indicate that I am going to publish more frequently. Over the last year or two I am sad to admit I haven’t really had much time to put effort into the becoming project. It generally takes a week vacation to give me time to rework things. Most of you know that I have been placing most of my free time on Daily Blur and wedding stuff. If you are ever anxiously awaiting new content I suggest you take a look at my photoblog.
Currently I am sitting in a coffee shop in Keene, New Hampshire. I will be staying in the lovely town of Brattleboro, Vermont. I don’t have too much planned this weekend with the exception of getting some projects done, and heading over to Sheldon Brown’s bike shop in Massachusetts.
Just wanted to let everyone know that NETIKUS.NET ltd has released their first blog. The new site, http://www.eventlogblog.com/blog, went live today.
